The Cancún villa location is Avenida Huayacán, on a gated residential street rather than in the Hotel Zone. It is the thing guests bring up most, and almost always in the same words: we felt safe.

That is the trade. You will not walk out of the door onto a beach. What you get instead is a quiet street, supermarkets and restaurants a few minutes away, and a house where fifteen people can be loud at four in the afternoon without anyone complaining.

What it costs: the whole villa starts at $4,500 MXN per night and goes up to $8,000 MXN depending on the dates — the five suites, the private pool and the house to yourselves, for up to 15 guests.
