What are the check-in and check-out times at Villa Alijah?

Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight), and check-out is by 10:00 AM. We offer contactless self check-in via a smart lock system, so you can arrive anytime within the check-in window without waiting for anyone. Your unique access code is sent 24 hours before arrival. If you need early check-in or late check-out, just ask — we'll do our best to accommodate based on availability.

How do I get from Cancún Airport (CUN) to the villa?

Villa Alijah is approximately 25 minutes from Cancún International Airport (CUN). We strongly recommend arranging a private airport transfer, which we can coordinate for you at competitive rates. Simply let us know your flight details after booking, and a driver will be waiting for you at the terminal. Taxis and ride-sharing apps (Uber, inDrive) are also available at the airport. Tip: Avoid the "timeshare" sales agents in the airport arrivals hall — head straight to the taxi stand or your pre-arranged driver.

Is there parking available at the villa?

Yes! Villa Alijah features a private covered parking area for up to 6 vehicles. This is particularly convenient for groups renting multiple cars. The parking area is secure and within the property grounds, so your vehicles are always safe. If you're planning to rent a car, we recommend booking through reputable agencies at the airport or downtown. Rental cars are the best way to explore cenotes, Chichén Itzá, and the Riviera Maya independently.

Absolutely. Villa Alijah has 5 spacious suites with 10 beds total, comfortably sleeping 15 guests:

Is the swimming pool private? Is it safe for children?

Yes, the crystal-clear pool is 100% private — it's exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. The pool features an advanced filtration system and a beautiful ornamental fountain. Important for families: The pool area does not have a fence or locked gate, so children must always be supervised by an adult when near the pool. This is clearly stated in our house rules and on the Airbnb listing for everyone's safety. We also provide lounge chairs and an outdoor dining area for 12 near the pool.

Is the kitchen fully equipped? Can I cook for 15 people?

The gourmet kitchen is a culinary center designed for serious cooking. It features professional stainless steel appliances, a central island with breakfast bar, complete dinnerware and glassware for 15 guests, a traditional coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave, professional utensils, and a premium cutting board. There's even a complete international spice rack. Combined with the formal indoor dining area (seats 15) and the outdoor garden dining (seats 12), Villa Alijah is perfect for hosting meals.

How fast is the WiFi? Can I work remotely from the villa?

Villa Alijah is equipped with enterprise-grade fiber optic WiFi at 200+ Mbps throughout the entire property. This is more than enough for video conferencing, streaming on multiple devices simultaneously, and remote work. Every bedroom, living area, and even the pool area has strong coverage. The villa is actually listed as an ideal destination for "workations" (work + vacation), and many of our guests are digital nomads and remote workers who need reliable connectivity.

Does the villa have air conditioning in every room?

Yes. Each of the 5 bedrooms has individual A/C units so you can control the temperature in your own room. The main living room also has air conditioning. Cancún's tropical climate means temperatures can reach 85–95°F (30–35°C) year-round, so reliable A/C is essential. We use energy-efficient inverter units that cool quickly and run quietly throughout the night.

Are parties or events allowed at Villa Alijah?

Villa Alijah is located in an exclusive residential neighborhood on Avenida Huayacán, and we kindly ask guests to respect the peaceful atmosphere. While family celebrations and intimate gatherings are welcome, loud parties and large events are not permitted. The villa is ideal for family reunions, corporate retreats, birthday dinners, and group celebrations — just please keep noise levels respectful, especially after 10:00 PM. We want you to enjoy yourselves while being great neighbors.

Is smoking allowed? Can I bring pets?

Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas (garden and terrace). We ask that you do not smoke inside the villa to preserve the air quality and comfort for all guests and future visitors. As for pets, they are not allowed at Villa Alijah. This policy ensures the property stays pristine and allergen-free for all guests, especially families with small children. We appreciate your understanding.

The rainy season (May – October) offers lower prices and fewer crowds — showers are usually brief afternoon storms followed by sunshine.
